As planned, today the Unpacked event was held in which Samsung has unveiled its new high-end models. The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra come to succeed the Note 10 and Note 10+ from last year, and they do so by corroborating most of the features – and the design – that had been leaked in recent weeks.

Although there were also rumors surrounding a possible Galaxy Note 20+, the company has finally decided to do without the Plus variant and instead launch a model with the Ultra surname that becomes the company’s new flagship. Let’s take a closer look at the two new members of the Galaxy Note family to see how they are alike and how they differ.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20: bigger in all sections

Galaxy Note 20 04

The new Galaxy Note 20 has grown compared to its predecessor, as it mounts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen (20: 9) with FullHD + resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), a 60 Hz refresh rate and an integrated fingerprint reader.. On this occasion, we are talking about a flat panel with a hole in the center of the upper part to house the front camera.

Inside, as expected, we have the brand’s 7nm Exynos 990 processor with the 5123 modem, which guarantees its compatibility with 5G SA / NSA networks and with Wi-Fi 6. In this model, that chipset comes accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, as well as a security processor and the One UI 2.1 operating system based on Android 10.

In the photographic section, we have a 10 MP front camera with f / 2.2 aperture and a triple rear camera composed of a 12 megapixel f / 1.8 main sensor with OIS, a 64 megapixel f / 2.0 telephoto lens with OIS and 3X hybrid zoom and a 12 megapixel f / 2.2 wide angle.

Another feature in which it has improved compared to its predecessor is the battery, which is now 4,300 mAh and offers 25 W fast charging and 15 W fast wireless charging , as well as reverse wireless charging. Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, the S Pen and IP68 certification complete its most important features.

The Note 20 Ultra shares with its little brother the Exynos 990 processor and the 5123 modem with two RAM options (8 and 12 GB) and two storage options (128 and 256 GB), in addition to 5G and WiFi 6 connectivity, the speakers Dolby Atmos stereo, the S Pen, IP68 certification and the operating system. It also has 25 W fast charging, 15 W fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, but in this case the battery is 4,500 mAh.
